The answer to whether Christianity is true is very simple to solve looking at the numbers. There are 200 BILLION TRILLION star systems in the universe and it just so happens that the son of god was born here. That makes Christianity and other religions a joke. People with a skill or gift have a tendency to set up shop and ply their trade, as both Dawkins and Brown have done. We all tacitly tolerate advertising, a shamelessly manipulative art; have none of Dawkins' and Brown's headlines, fliers and blurbs ever hyperbolised their importance? Most psychics believe in what they're doing, and you've got to explore the mental contortions by which they manage that - this does come up in the interview but very simplified. The boundary between the poetic and the magical is hard to define. Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali had produced a move called "Submission", which depicted the horrible way Islam treats women, and Theo van Gogh was slaughtered in the streets for it, so Ayaan fled for her life, again.... and she would STILL not be silenced. - Dawkins was to chicken to openly criticize Islam in TV here in Europe...and that is when he lost my respect. My favorite part was when Dawkins enthusiastically described the transitional evolution of jaw bones to inner ear bones and appealed to Ms. Wright’s innate sense of wonder. You can see the moment when her affect goes into a childlike sadness (assuming the footage was edited “faithfully”) , as if part of her realizes that she was raised by dogmatists.

Is Richard Dawkins smart enough to understand that sex is totally different than gender? He seems to be thinking about sex when he talks about gender. It doesn't sound like he understands the difference between these two biological issues. A female who has a female gender is just as female as a female who has a female sex. What most people seem to miss with these gender arguments is that this brand of gender activism has been born of the feminist tenet that gender is a creation of society - which grew out of the feminist assertion that "gender roles" are imposed on society and therefor illegitimate. It is hardly surprising that, as rabid feminism gets a hold and grip on mainstream media and politics, their views and opinions are becoming more widely promulgated. Without the tacit and explicit support of feminists, trans ideology would never have got off the ground.

I am a system of a’ priori modes, not a body of limbs and organs. We need to move beyond the notion of “We” because we as humans is a loose premise at best. In essence, the body conduit has no fixed predicate in the abstract lens. What is it of us that knows that? We should begin to define ourselves as a set of a’ priori modes. A set that allows for systemic alignment. A set synthesised with realities structures and stresses. This is the next step. Everything else is tied up in a field of inverted axioms and that path is a dead end.

I don't get the sense that woke people want to convert others to their religion. It's like it's an exclusionary religion ironically, where they only seek to destroy the other religions.

The idea that enlightenment values owes thanks to christianity... it's a bit like some guy growing up with an abusive, controlling father, and then breaking free, ending up as a parent doing the complete opposite to their own kid; being loving, tolerant and attentive, knowing how awful their own upbringing was. Then the abusive father would come and demand thankfulness, cause if he had not abused him, the kid wouldn't have become such an attentive and loving parent. So while they may be superficially connected, we could have done without the abusive doctrine called christianity in the first place. Sorry, christians, but you can't take credit for the enlightenment.

People hear what they want or expect to hear. I'm not sure of the biological evolutionary advantage to this, although I could posit that it comes from primitive man's need to make very quick decisions based on their immediate take on environmental stimuli. The ability to do that with a high degree of accuracy probably outweighed the importance of sitting back and carefully considering those stimuli and the possible reactions from all angles for the vast majority of our evolutionary history. Unfortunately, in modern society this "hearing what you expect to hear" and failing to question that first impression, has led to a stunning number of examples of otherwise ordinary people being made into fools.
